BRUNO & POL
MERLI
ABOUT
Bruno is 16 years old, the son of Merlin. It is very difficult for him to have a father in class who gives the grade in front of friends, when precisely he likes to be discreet. He is an extroverted boy who has an irony that comes from his father and grandmother. He has also learned from his father to have bad milk and to know how to complain about things, and then he forgets what discretion is. Bruno starts a new life when his mother leaves for Rome for work, and he has to stay to live with his father (they were separated). The relationship with the father is distant and complicated. Bruno has a good time with everyone, but especially with Tania. They are inseparable and have a lot of confidence. When he is with her, he always feels free and has nothing to pretend; it’s pretty much an escape route for Bruno.
In the second season, as he has already come out of the closet, he feels more liberated, and therefore looks happier. But he misses his Italian love, which he met in the summer and which he left in Rome.
Bruno feels a great weakness towards the Pole after all they have lived together. After Merlin's death, he must face the new situation at home. Like the Pole, he will begin a new life at the university where he studies history.
Pol Rubio is 18 years old. He has repeated two courses. He is seemingly a braggart, haughty, believing, proud, cold, violent and manipulative and has the role of the most popular in the class. The handsome man who ties them all together easily, admired by his colleagues, who would already like to have this luck. But he is also a sensitive person. El Pol is the son of a working class family. He lives in his grandmother's apartment with his father and brother. The father is unemployed and the brother works in a car workshop. The family's financial problems weigh on the Pole, as does the death of his mother, who died when he was young.
In the second season, his family's financial problems continue to drown him out and he has quite a few communication problems with his father.
In the third and final season, he will set foot on dangerous ground and, at the same time, he will have to define his relationship with Tania.
The high school Pole was popular, cool believing and proud, but in college things are different. After Merlin's death, he feels lost and alone. He is now more insecure and undecided when it comes to making decisions or accepting who he is.
